The Zebra Mussels, founded in 1997, are a rock band that cover a wide variety of musical styles.  They are as comfortable with Steely Dan's "My Old School" as they are with Paul Simon's "Call Me Al" or Tom Petty's "American Girl".  When they appear with their 5 piece or 6 piece band, they can be heard covering everything from Stevie Wonder to Bonnie Raitt, from Alanis Morisette to Aretha Franklin.  They truly have something to please everyone.

The Zebra Mussels, whether in 4, 5 or 6 piece variations, are available for both private and public funtions.  They maintain a large and loyal fan base for which they are most greatful.

“You guys did a great job! Everybody I talked to loved your show. Thank you for making our wedding reception a success. We will be out to see you soon.”

"The Zebra Mussels? What a great band! Septemberfest is one of the largest “block parties” in Dakota County. We hired the 4-piece version in 2005 to be the warm-up band for Davy Jones (The Monkees). We brought back the Zebra Mussels in 2007, this time the 6-piece version, to warm-up for Kansas. In both events, the crowd loved the Mussels! They played entertaining and energizing rock-n-roll which was perfect for Septemberfest. The Mussels are very professional, easy to work with, and draw a nice crowd of people. It is without hesitation that I recommend them for any event."

"Just wanted to let you guys know what good time we all had at the Wildwood on April 12th. That was a bus load of dancing, partying, drinking North St. Paulites. Everyone raved about the bands playlist and versatility. They hit the dance floor the second we arrived and never came off. When you can make all 30 of us happy that's really saying something. Wish we could have stayed a little longer but we had to get the bus back. I just took a chance that everyone would have a good time out there and you guys made me look like a genius."
See ya next time
