At age 9 Chris had 3 albums. Jimi Hendrix - Are you experienced, Black Sabbath - Paranoid, and Chicago Transit Authority. Poem 58 on the Chicago album became the inspirational direction that pointed Chris to the guitar. After many years of playing it became obvious that there were more quality guitar players than quality bass players. Chris' bass endeavors have included such bands as Second Wind, Onyx, Front Street, and Bottom Line. Guitar is still a priority as is featured in some select Zebra Mussel songs. The Alter Boys and Boston Haas were two of Chris' favorite guitar gigs. His career highlights have included sharing the stage with such greats as REO Speedwagon, Nazereth, Judy Collins, Charlie Bingham, Howard Luedke, and Clyde Stubblefield.
